Custom Manufacturing
LCL was formed in 1994 and operates an advanced glassfiber, Kevlar, carbon reinforced plastic operation providing full capabilities from prototypes, tool making to product delivery. Equipped with a large CNC machine, prototypes and tooling masters are quickly produced; all production tooling (open or closed molds) are produced in-house, including tooling carts, trim and test fixtures. Our facility houses 5 large trimming robots to ensure all trimming is accurate and consistent from part to part. Product is delivered with a gelcoat or paint finish using two advanced paint booths, including clear coating. Desired reinforcement of parts is achieved with design and material properties or with infrastructure laminated directly into the part or attached with epoxy glue and/or fasteners. We provide full assembly operations such as attachment of additional components, brackets, lighting, wire harness, complete with decaling and protective plastic wrapping.
There is no need to seek out multiple suppliers; we do it all in one location that is ISO certified and in compliance with regulatory bodies. We continue to improve operations by investing in research and development activities as well as working with our suppliers, outside engineering and testing facilities recognized around the world. With highly skilled engineers on staff and state-of-art software, all development, design, improvements are done quickly and incorporated into the product immediately.
